Years & Years

Years & Years is a British synth-pop band formed in 2010, originally as a trio consisting of lead vocalist Olly Alexander, bassist Mikey Goldsworthy, and keyboardist Emre Turkmen. The band gained significant recognition with their debut album, "Communion," released in 2015, which featured hit singles such as "King," "Shine," and "Desire." "King" topped the UK Singles Chart, solidifying their place in the music scene. Their sound blends electronic pop with R&B influences, characterized by catchy melodies and socially conscious lyrics. In 2018, they released their second album, "Palo Santo," which explored themes of identity and love, showcasing a more mature sound and deeper lyrical content. In 2021, Alexander announced that Years & Years would continue as a solo project, with him as the frontman.
